Wrap yourself in the luxurious charm of Madhuvanthi, an exquisite handwoven Veldhari Checks Kanchipuram pure silk saree, glowing in a mesmerizing shade of English red (a captivating pink-red hue). A harmonious blend of tradition and craftsmanship, this stunning creation is skillfully woven from rich 4-ply (Murukku Pattu) pure silk yarns and adorned with opulent pure zari, radiating an aura of timeless elegance and royal grace.

The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body):
A The saree’s body shimmers with a celestial glow, where the enchanting "Veldhari Checks (wavy gold lines punctuated with delicate dots)" dance across the rich English Red canvas. Scattered across this luminous silk, intricate "Kolam motifs" in gold zari sparkle like tiny stars, their half-repeat pattern weaving an ethereal tale of heritage and artistry. Every pleat whispers stories of grace, while every fold catches the light in a delicate shimmer, wrapping you in a cocoon of opulence.

The Majestic Karai (Saree Borders):
A vision of contrast and sophistication, the "Retta Pett borders" in a deep, mesmerizing shade of magenta with a hint of violet hue add a bold, yet elegant frame to the saree. These borders are embellished with the striking "Vanki patterns (an inverted V-shaped design reminiscent of South India’s traditional armlets)" woven with precision in rich magenta silk yarns. Adding to the allure are horizontal bands of intricately woven "Pavunu motifs, (While reminiscent of the Rudraksham motif, the Pavunpet stands apart with a central dot in each coin-like design, flanked by two vertical lines on either side)",  beautifully framed within "button buttas" encased by "Muthu Seer (pearl-like) stripes" in gleaming gold zari. The final touch? A graceful row of "leaf anklets" at the edge, adding a whimsical, enchanting finish.

The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu):
Prepare to be captivated by the saree’s crowning glory, the contrast pallu, entirely woven in radiant gold Zari, flowing like a luminous cascade against the deep magenta backdrop. Bold horizontal bands are adorned with majestic "Anna Pakshi (mythical bird) motifs" and intricate "Elephant motifs", symbols of strength and grace. These regal elements are beautifully framed by "Greek Key (Saavi Pett) motifs" encased in "Kattari (cutter-inspired) motifs" add sharp, elegant detailing. The divided field of the pallu glimmers with "Banaras motifs (diagonal lines)", each one radiating with intricate zari work. Finishing this opulent tapestry, delicate "leaf anklets" line the edges, adding an enchanting, timeless touch to this masterpiece of woven artistry.

The Elegant Blouse:
Completing this luxurious ensemble is an unstitched blouse in a contrasting deep magenta shade, adorned with a gold zari border that mirrors the saree’s exquisite border. The blouse offers endless possibilities for styling, allowing you to personalize your look while maintaining the saree's inherent elegance.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
