Alluring and graceful, Charusheela, our Palum Pazhamum Checks Kanjivaram Pure Silk Saree is a celebration of timeless elegance and heritage. Crafted with 4-ply, 6-twist pure silk yarn and adorned with intricate gold zari work, this masterpiece embodies the rich weaving traditions of South India. Woven from the finest pure mulberry silk, it radiates regal sophistication, with each thread telling a story of artistry and cultural splendor. A quintessential piece of the Kanchipuram saree tradition, its beauty remains eternal, making it a treasured heirloom that transcends trends and time.

The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body):
A stunning fusion of vibrant hues, glowing oranges, sunshine yellow, lush greens, regal magentas, and deep purples, masterfully woven into a captivating checkered pattern, all framed by luxurious gold zari. The intricate checks are embellished with radiant "chakram motifs" and delicate "floral leaves, artfully arranged within squares" in gold zari, creating a breathtaking half-repeat design. The harmonious blend of colors and exquisite detailing radiates timeless elegance.

The Majestic Karai (Saree Borders):
An absolute vision of allure, with its exquisite Korvai borders in a rich dark red hue, adorned with shimmering gold zari accents. The enchanting design features recurring bands, each embellished with alternately placed "Elephants and Anna Pakshi motifs", creating a captivating rhythm. These bands are beautifully framed by "Muthu lines" and "Kayaru lines" in lush green silk thread, enhancing the contrast with elegance. The divided field of the border is a masterpiece, with "Kuyil Kann motifs" enclosed in "chevrons" of vibrant orange, adding a burst of color. The entire design is then framed by delicate gold zari "leaf anklets", completing this mesmerizing piece of artistry.

The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu):
A striking contrast in deep red, the pallu shimmers with a molten cascade of gold,  inviting you to twirl in its splendor. Embellished with intricate bands of "Anna Pakshi motifs", the medium-sized pettu exudes timeless elegance, while the grand "Peacock motifs" in larger pettu bands command admiration. All are framed by the graceful "Kamalam and Kayaru motifs", forming a harmonious blend of tradition and artistry. The pallu’s divided field blooms like a lush garden, with closely aligned "Kamalam motifs" set apart by "diamond pillars", creating a mesmerizing half-repeat pattern in lustrous gold Zari. The entire composition is flanked by delicate "leaf anklets", enriching the ensemble with a final touch of opulent beauty.

The Elegant Blouse:
Beautifully completed with an unstitched blouse in a rich dark red, adorned with an intricate gold zari border that enhances the saree's majestic design with perfect harmony..

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
