Radiating warmth and splendor, Saindhavi, our handwoven Kanchipuram pure silk saree in a mesmerizing dual-tone, is a testament to timeless artistry. Crafted from the finest mulberry silk and adorned with luxurious pure zari, every thread weaves a story of tradition and artistry. Perfect for weddings and grand celebrations, this timeless masterpiece drapes you in grace, ensuring you shine with elegance and heartfelt charm.

The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body):
In a mesmerizing dual shade of deep rose and yellow ochre, Saindhavi shimmers in an enchanting sunset orange hue, evoking the brilliance of the evening sky. The body is adorned with sizeable divine "Mayil (peacock) - Chakram motifs", rendered in a half-repeat pattern that enhances the saree’s celestial allure. The interplay of motifs against the iridescent silk canvas creates a sense of timeless divinity.

The Majestic Karai (Saree Borders):
Framing this exquisite body are the majestic 9.5-inch contrast borders in dark fuchsia with a tinge of violet, exuding regal splendor. These borders are adorned with "varisapet bands", where pure zari "paisleys", "chevrons", and "retta neli patterns" are gracefully enclosed within "thandavalam lines". The central band features "kuyil kann (diamond motifs)" enclosed in "paisley-adorned bands", further enhancing its allure. Alternating dark fuchsia silk bands, embellished with "vanki patterns" in silk thread, add depth and richness, while the dark orange "selvedge" beautifully elevates the contrast.

The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu):
The contrasting dark fuchsia pallu is a resplendent display of pure zari craftsmanship, featuring a spectacular array of traditional motifs. Recurrent bands of “Annapakshi” and “Gaja-Yazhi” motifs interwoven with "floral vines" reflect prosperity and grandeur. These designs are further enriched by horizontally aligned "elephants", "coin buttas", "paisleys", and "veldhari motifs", framed within elegant "thandavalam lines". The divided field of the pallu is accentuated with "Benaras lines (diagonal patterns)", lending a scintillating shimmer to the fabric, while delicate leaf anklets gracefully border the entire composition, making it a vision of opulence.

The Elegant Blouse:
Complementing the saree’s rich aesthetics is a matching unstitched pure silk blouse in dark fuchsia with a tinge of violet, perfectly mirroring the saree’s exquisite borders.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
