Radiant and graceful, Mandara, our handwoven Kanchi Silk Cotton saree, is a vision of grace in iridescent hues of deep rose and sunrise orange. Crafted from a luxurious blend of pure silk and fine cotton, this saree is soft, lightweight, and effortlessly graceful, making it perfect for intimate festivities and formal gatherings. Delicate zari accents woven throughout the saree add a touch of opulence, enhancing its celestial allure and timeless charm.

Saree Body:
The lustrous body of the saree shimmers with a play of light, adorned with intricate “Kolam motifs” woven in radiant gold zari. Like scattered stardust, these motifs add a celestial glow, making the drape nothing short of mesmerizing.

Saree Border:
The contrasting 6.5 inch “Retta Pett borders” on both ends in a rich purple iris hue are a striking complement to the saree's warm tones. Embellished with horizontally aligned “Rudraksham buttas” enclosed within delicate “button buttas”, the border is further accentuated by orange “Muthu Seer lines”, adding an elegant rhythm to the weave. On one side, the border is flanked by “Madam buttas”, enhancing its regal grandeur.

Saree Pallu:
The scintillating gold zari pallu is a masterpiece of traditional artistry, featuring horizontally woven bands adorned with majestic “peacock motifs” enclosed within “Kamala motifs”, a tribute to divine beauty. “Kodi Visiri motifs” enclosed in “Kamalam motifs”, flanked by “floral anklets”, add a rhythmic charm. The divided field of the pallu, woven with “floral patterns nestled within diamond motifs”, resembles a blooming garden, while the “Muthu Seer lines” in vibrant orange bring a radiant brilliance to the entire composition.

Saree Blouse:
Complementing the saree is an unstitched Kanchi silk cotton blouse in a dual-tone weave with a purple iris border, seamlessly blending with the saree’s timeless elegance.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
