Exuding grace and tradition, Divyanshi, our handloom Muthu Kattam Kanchi Silk Cotton Saree, stuns in a regal dusky purple shade (plum grey). Woven from pure silk and fine cotton, this masterpiece combines luxurious comfort with timeless sophistication. Delicate checks lend a touch of tradition, making it a graceful choice for any occasion where you wish to exude charm and poise. A true wardrobe treasure, it promises effortless beauty with every drape.

Saree Body:
The saree’s body exudes subtle elegance, adorned with intricate "Muthu Kattam checks" in luminous gold zari against a muted purple backdrop. Delicate "Kamalam (lotus) buttas" bloom within the shimmering grids, their soft golden glow adding a touch of grace. The gentle interplay of texture and sheen creates a refined radiance, making every fold drape with effortless sophistication.

Saree Border: The majestic 6.5 inch Retta Pettu borders on both ends are exquisitely woven with shimmering gold zari "Rudraksham pett motifs", gracefully enclosed within delicate "muthu seer bands". Enhancing their intricacy, these Rudraksham bands are adorned with "Paneer Sombu motif anklets", an auspicious symbol inspired by the sacred pitcher (Sombu), often associated with divine offerings. Adding depth and contrast, one side of the border is enriched with a bold grayish purple "selvedge", while the other seamlessly transitions into a dark plum purple "Moplah section", featuring elegant "muthu seer lines" in gold zari. This distinctive Moplah segment, celebrated for its deep, rich hue, creates a harmonious blend between the border and the body, amplifying the saree’s traditional grandeur and visual appeal.

Saree Pallu: A breathtaking cascade of gold zari unfolds in this scintillating pallu, where artistry and tradition intertwine. The first resplendent band showcases majestic "winged gajayazhi motifs, delicate paisleys, and florals", each nestled within elegant "three-pointed arch frames". These arches, adorned with "Thazhamboo rekku" at their base and crowned by "twin Gandaberunda motifs", exude both regal grandeur and fierce beauty.

The second band unveils a heartwarming tableau of a mother "deer and her fawn motifs", gracefully wandering through lush "floral gardens", a symbol of grace and tenderness. The divided field is meticulously crafted with "temple tower motifs", set against a mesmerizing diagonal weave, adding rhythm and depth to the composition. Every exquisite detail is enclosed within "Rudraksham butta pett, nestled in muthu seer", embodying divine charm. Finally, celestial "Paneer Sombu anklets" frame the entire composition, bringing harmony and a timeless allure to the design.

Saree Blouse:
Completing the ensemble is an unstitched silk cotton blouse in a regal dusky purple hue, perfectly complementing the saree. Its border mirrors the saree’s woven splendor, adding a touch of cohesive elegance.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
