Indulge in the timeless charm of tradition with Magadhi, our stunning Handloom Checks Kanchi Cotton Saree. Draped in a serene rubine red (a delicate, enchanting shade of pink), this six-yard masterpiece is a celebration of Kanchi's rich craftsmanship. Every thread and motif is woven with meticulous care, creating an heirloom that honors the elegance of ancient techniques and a legacy that transcends time. The luxurious cotton caresses the skin, offering an unmatched blend of comfort and grace, while enveloping the wearer in an aura of divine sophistication.

Saree body:
The body of the saree unfolds like a visual symphony, adorned with delicate "muthu buttas" that drift gracefully across "muthu kattam" checks in a rich, vibrant shade of Chinese orange. Each handwoven motif, deeply rooted in traditional artistry, captures the essence of divine beauty.

Saree Border:
The saree’s "Retta Pett" border is a refined tribute to heritage, woven in a striking shade of Chinese orange (a soft, medium light red-orange) that frames the saree beautifully on both sides. This meticulously detailed border is enhanced with intricate woven bands in old lace color, woven alternately with "Rudraksham buttas", "Kamalam buttas", and "Thuthirippoo", all enclosed within delicate bands of petite "kamalam buttas" and "Diamond buttas". These bands are further framed by "Muthu Seer", flanked by "Podigi buttas (small triangles)", showcasing the masterful craftsmanship of Kanchi artisans. A captivating "rubine-red selvedge" adds the finishing touch, infusing the saree with a timeless charm that elevates its allure.

Saree Pallu: The pallu is a masterpiece of reverence, woven with iconic, recurring bands adorned with graceful "Peacock motifs", intricately intertwined with "paisleys and floral vines", alongside delicate "small kodi visiri" bands. The divided fields of the pallu feature a "diamond pattern, filled with Kamalam buttas", adding depth and beauty to the design. These bands are beautifully separated by "Muthu Seer bands" in a rich red-orange hue, enhancing the pattern, while "leaf anklets" delicately flank the design, framing it with an enchanting, almost sacred aura.

Saree Blouse:
Completing this timeless ensemble is an unstitched Kanchi cotton blouse in matching rubine red, adorned with a border that echoes the elegance of the saree's border.

Disclaimer: This handloom saree may exhibit slight irregularities, inherent to the human involvement in the weaving process, adding to its unique charm. Please note that the actual product color may vary slightly due to screen resolution and digital photography.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
