Celebrate heritage and artistry with Ishita, our Checks Kai Korvai Kanchipuram Pure Silk Saree in a graceful almond hue. A true testament to tradition, this masterpiece is woven from luxurious 4-ply silk threads, reflecting the timeless craftsmanship of skilled artisans. Every intricate detail embodies regal charm, making it a cherished heirloom passed down through generations. Perfect for grand celebrations, Ishita drapes you in elegance and sophistication, ensuring that each fold tells a story of grace and legacy.

Saree Body:
The saree’s body is a stunning display of "kattam (checks)", crafted with meticulous precision, and adorned with delicate "Mayil - Chakram buttas (peacock - wheel motifs)" in an enchanting dark scarlet shade (bright shade of Pinkish Red). These intricate motifs, scattered gracefully across the checks, lend a sense of depth, richness, and grandeur to the drape. Every weave whispers tales of splendor, making this saree a true work of art.

Saree Border:
The 6-inch Korvai Temple Border is the crowning glory of this saree, showcasing the grandeur of temple architecture through its intricate triangular patterns, reminiscent of "gopurams (temple towers)". The "Varisaipet motifs", woven with exceptional precision, form a captivating sequence of designs. This border is a harmonious blend of exquisite elements - horizontally aligned bands featuring "peacock motifs" in almond color nestled within "kodi visiri (creeper buttas)" in a rich midnight blue hue, alongside "bombaram buttas (spinning top motifs)" interspersed with bold "green plain weave bands" for a striking contrast. These bands are adorned with delicate "muthu buttas (pearl-inspired motifs)" and framed by graceful "leaf anklets," adding layers of sophistication. The border is further enhanced by a deep, "dark scarlet selvedge", creating a stunning visual contrast that elevates its overall opulence.

Saree Pallu:
The dark scarlet pallu is a masterpiece in its own right, mirroring the artistry of the border with an intricate pattern replication. The divided field is adorned with traditional "Seepu Rekku motifs" on "benaras line (diagonal weave), reminiscent of a bygone era of majestic handloom weaves. The pallu’s grandeur elevates the saree into an unmatched realm of sophistication.

Saree Blouse:
Complementing this exquisite drape is an unstitched pure silk blouse in dark scarlet, featuring a border woven with the same silk threadwork as the saree.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
