Drape yourself in the elegance of Tarika, a mesmerizing handloom Lakshadeepam Handloom Kanchi Silk Cotton Saree in a regal dark magenta hue. Woven from the finest cotton and pure silk, with delicate zari accents, this saree embodies tradition, artistry, and sophistication. Whether for grand soirées or formal gatherings, Tarika allows you to radiate timeless charm with effortless grace.

Saree Body:
The body of the saree is a vision of celestial beauty, featuring the mesmerizing “Muthu Kattam (pearl checks)” interwoven with delicate “Button buttas” in a luminous mango orange shade. Each motif, resembling a radiant deepam, is meticulously placed within the checks, creating a breathtaking contrast against the rich magenta backdrop.

Saree Border: The 9.5 inch borders on both edges are a true testament to craftsmanship, a harmonious blend of intricate design and regal opulence. Divided into three exquisite segments, the outer bands are adorned with resplendent “Leaping Pegasus and Elephant motifs”, symbolizing strength and grace. These figures are seamlessly interwoven with delicate “Floral Vines” in a soft cream shade, while “Veldhari stripes” in gleaming metallic gold zari encircle the motifs, adding an aura of grandeur. The central segment, a striking blend of dual-tone purple and green, shifts radiantly under the light, creating a mesmerizing play of hues that enhances the saree’s allure. A finely detailed dark red “selvedge” and delicate leaf anklets at one end complete the border, offering a refined, sophisticated touch.

Saree Pallu: The Pallu, or Anchal, of the saree is a splendid showcase of traditional motifs meticulously woven in cream-colored threads within recurring bands. One set of motifs features "Elephant motifs" interspersed with paisley vines, while another set showcases "Annapakshi and Gaja-yazhi motifs" enclosed within "ornate arch frames", all elegantly separated by "Veldhari stripes" in metallic gold zari, resulting in a captivating and harmonious pattern. The divided section of the Pallu boasts repeating columns of "Kamalam motifs", "benaras motifs", and charming "thuthiripookal motifs", further enhancing its distinctive allure.

Saree Blouse:
The saree is paired with a plain dark magenta blouse, featuring a border that mirrors the saree’s intricate design, ensuring a seamless, elegant ensemble.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
